After more than 30 years of prayer, perseverance and faith, the Zinza people of Tanzania celebrated the dedication of the New Testament in their language!
On the dedication day, hundreds of people gathered. Choirs sang in Zinza, the congregations danced and churches united across denominational lines. But the most moving moment came when primary school children read aloud from the newly published New Testament.
"When the children read, the crowd became completely silent. People were amazed. Many had never before heard Scripture read so fluently in their own language — and by the youngest generation. It was as if God Himself was showing us the future of His Word among the Zinza,” an attendee noted.
